Una grabación divulgada por las FDI muestra impactos en camiones de transporte e instalaciones de almacenamiento estratégico.

Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) anunciaron este sábado que continúan ejecutando operaciones ofensivas en suelo iraní con el objetivo declarado de "neutralizar la amenaza" procedente de Irán. La afirmación fue respaldada por un video que muestra impactos en camiones de transporte e instalaciones de almacenamiento estratégico.

En la madrugada del 13 de junio, Israel atacó instalaciones nucleares, altos mandos militares, científicos y otras infraestructuras en Irán. El primer ministro Benjamín Netanyahu calificó la operación como "muy exitosa", afirmando que golpeó "el corazón" del programa nuclear iraní.

Como respuesta inmediata, Irán lanzó una represalia masiva contra Israel (especialmente en Tel Aviv y Jerusalén) utilizando más de 100 drones y misiles balísticos. Las FDI interceptaron parte de los proyectiles iraníes usando sus sistemas de defensa aérea. Sin embargo, algunos misiles lograron impactar en el país hebreo, como muestran varios videos en redes sociales.

Las acciones de Israel fueron condenadas por Rusia, China y varios países del mundo. La Cancillería rusa calificó los ataques israelíes como "no provocados" y "rotundamente inaceptables", y el presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, en una conversación con los líderes de ambos países, expresó su disposición a mediar para evitar una mayor escalada de la tensión.
